Yuli Cell Perfecto PM serum

All natural. Check! Good reviews. Check! my excitement and expectations. Sky high!
From having acne I was left with a lot of red spots that hadn't cleared away, as well as pigmentation and a couple of scars.
This promised: when massaged every night into the skin; reduced scars, pigmentation and overall well cared for and nourished skin.
Being a natural product, I assumed this was the best product for my skin. I've learned through the amazing blogger Amelia Liana and her experience with natural skin care that they can do the opposite of help the skin, and actually make it worse due to the the larger molecules the natural ingredients are made up of; there fore making it harder to break down into the skin.
This being said, I noticed an immediate difference in my skin, it was polished, almost spot free and looking radiant and glowy in the morning as ever.
I'm unsure whether this product had anything to do with it, but after using it for almost two months my skin has in the past two weeks severely broken out around my mouth and chin area in angry under-the-skin (blind) acne. I haven't been eating that healthily at the moment either and I would like to believe that's the reason for this breakout but as an experiment I'm going to remain true to my normal skin care routine (ASAP cleanser and exfoliator and Dermalogica moisturiser) to see whether it calms down.
Once I've cleared up il be right back onto the serum in order to remove my now current scars :)

This product is very expensive and I'm sure that there are many wonderful natural products out there similar, but by reading the reviews and info from their website, I was hooked to this product in particular for all that it promised, as well as it's lack of funds put into advertising and  product design and packaging as the price you are paying for is solely used to produce the best delivering product rather than to exploit it to customers.

The product itself is a combination of oils that are finely milled to be massaged into the skin. There is some minerally residue in the bottle which may raise your eyebrow at first, but that just proves how natural this product is, and disappears once massaged into the skin. The bottle is a stylish black glass with a glass pipette making it a luxurious experience where you're able to control the amount that you use.

If you had acne scars that you have been attempting to treat, or pigmentation or just want to brighten your complexion; without having sensitive acne-prone skin I'd recommend using this for immediate results.
For the price you are paying, use it diligently as it's a small bottle that goes along way. Unless you've tried all the products out there and are desperate to smooth out scarring on parts of your body, opt for cheaper products such as bio oil that do similar jobs but aren't designed specially for the facial skin tissue.

This product can be bought from their online store (where I bought mine off but shipping took 3 weeks to ship from the US to Australia):

ASAP Daily Exfoliating Facial Scrub & Daily Facial Cleanser with AHA

Let's start off with, my skin type. Super sensitive, acne-prone with oily T zone and a bit flakey in colder seasons. The exfoliator has a very coarse gritty consistency; not everyone's cup of tea, but I find it an excellent way to make sure that every scrap of makeup is removed and de-clogged from my pores, while also massaging and removing the dead skin from the most outer layer. The cleanser is very gentle yet effective (milky-gel consistancy). With the added AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids - used in chemical peels, microdermabration, and general smoothing and erasing fine lines and imperfections) in the form of Glycolic Acid which breaks down the substances that clog pores. Although this form of AHA is natural, it's strongly recommended that you should follow after rinsing off and drying the face with a nourishing moisturiser. The cleanser boosts antioxidants, anti-ageing ingredients and helps to protect against free radical damage. The formula is oil-free and non pore clogging as well.
Some small points:
- Cleanser can be used with a Clarasonic.
- Ingredients are excellent for those struggling with acne as it will gradually combat the acne in a gentle progressive way. Its not harsh like Proactive for example, it may take a couple of months for there to be dramatic results, but a cleanse per day will make the world of difference to decrease production of acne forming.

I have used both these products for 5 years and am definitely not ready to remove these two staple products from my skin care routine! This brand is Australian owned and available in Australia, US and the UK. It can be bought online from their website:

Christophe Robin Baby Blonde Mask

A product promising baby blonde locks? I think yes. This sure does not fail to deliver. with a thick cream-like consistency, it's easily distributed throughout my long (slightly heat impaired) hair. I leave it in for 30-40 mins (recommended time is 3-30 mins) just so I know that I am cancelling out every brassy strand I can get that mask on!
But BOY does it work. I have used purple shampoos in the past; such as the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Colour Renew Tone Corrector shampoo, but I found it made no difference to the tone of my hair.
So when I found this mask, and it worked, i got HOOKED.
I use it once a week just to maintain the ashy blonde/brown tone of my hair.
Because my hair is long i tend to use about a table spoon worth of product which gets worked through damp washed hair. The tub is a reasonable size (250ml) which should last me a couple of months and the smell isn't strong (reminds me of a mild suncream smell).
I would definitely recommend this mask for anyone who has lighter tones in the hair, all the way to platinum blonde, just to maintain that creamy baby light blonde colour that hasn't brassed over with wear and tear!
Christophe Robin also has other tone correcting masks in Ash Brown, Chic Copper, Golden Blonde and Warm Chesnut.
